Biography
I was born in Camp Pendleton, California. I moved to Fernley in 1960 and have lived in Fernley for over 62 years. I attended elementary, middle school and high school in Fernley. After high school, I received a full ride scholarship in track and field to attend College of Southern Idaho and earned my associates degree in AG Business. I then received a scholarship to University of Nevada, Reno where I attended for one year. While attending UNR, I married my childhood sweetheart, Victoria Mendoza. We've been married for 46-years and have five children, 25 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Most of them live in the Fernley area. My hobbies include bow hunting, fly fishing and ice fishing, traveling the world with his wife of 46-years.
