All active registered voters in Nevada will be sent a ballot in the mail for the general election.  Voters do not need to request an absentee ballot.

If you choose to vote using the ballot that was mailed to you, you can simply mark the ballot and use the postage paid envelope and mail it back to Lyon County.  You may also drop your completed ballot off at City Hall, 595 Silver Lace Blvd, Fernley, during Early Voting and on Election Day. See times and dates below.

All voters will have the option of voting in person, either during early voting or on Election Day, if they choose not to vote by mail.  Early voting begins on Saturday, October 17 and runs through Thursday, October 29.  Voters who wish to vote in person are highly encouraged to vote early. Masks and social distancing are required.
