City of Fernley Welcomes the Newly Appointed Members of the Senior Citizen Advisory Committee

On July 7, 2021, the Fernley City Council adopted Resolution No. 21-004 which established the City of Fernley Senior Citizen Advisory Committee. The purpose of the committee is to advise the City Council on matters relating to senior citizens; to provide an informational resource to senior citizens on matters of concern to senior citizens; and to promote volunteer programs for the benefit of senior citizens. The committee consists of five (5) community members who were appointed by the City Council on October 6, 2021 from the pool of interest applicants.

The City would like to welcome and present our newly appointed Senior Citizen Advisory Committee members: Thomas Burrous, Sherryl Wheeler, Sharon Holley, Jewel "JF" McCullar, and Jacqueline LaVoie.

The Senior Citizen Advisory Committee meetings are scheduled on the 4th Wednesday of every month, unless otherwise noted, in the City Council Chambers and being at 10:00 AM. The meeting will also be available by Zoom.
