The City of Fernley is soliciting information from businesses regarding the proposed Water & Sewer Rate Increase to prepare a Business Impact Statement pursuant to NRS 237.090.Any owners and officers of businesses which are likely to be affected by the rate increase may submit data or arguments as to whether the proposed action will:
(a) impose a direct and significant economic burden upon a business; or
(b) directly restrict the formation, operation, or expansion of a business.
Two workshops will be held for public comments on the proposed changes. Please attend either workshop on Tuesday, May 18th, 2021 at 4:30 pm or Tuesday, May 25th, 2021 at 4:30 pm. They will be held in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 595 Silver Lace Blvd, Fernley. Any data or arguments must be received by Tuesday, May 18th, 2021 at 5:30 pm.
