[ARCHIVED] 2022 Spooktacular Wrap-up

Fire Dept and SweetPea the Donkey

The City of Fernley held this year’s Spooktacular event back at City Hall. Over 2,500 brave little goblins and ghouls walked through city hall’s haunted hallways with their families and bounced in Baileys Bounce House. Volunteers from local businesses and organizations handed out over 36,500 pieces of candy and 250 pumpkins.

Of course, this even could not have possible without the help of our great Spooktacular Sponsors and Volunteers: Living Stones Church, Greater Nevada Credit Union, Fernley Chamber of Commerce, Coldwell Bankers, Big R, Joe Reisenauer and the Fernley Moose Lodge, Lisa Warner, North Lyon Fire District, Cottonwood PTA, Lions Club, Silverado, Jenni McCullar, Buzz Oates, Waste Management, Terribles Casino, Laura Olson, Marty Hanna, Fernley Post Office, Mayor Edgington, Councilwoman McKay, Councilman Lacy, Councilwoman Torres, Senior Citizen Advisory Committee members JF McCullar and Denise Moorman, our great city of Fernley staff, and last but certainly not least Sweet Pea (donkey) and Clio (calf). Cheers to the our wonderful Sponsors and Volunteers who make the event possible and a BIG thank you to all families who stopped by our event. We will see you next year!
