[ARCHIVED] Skatepark at In-Town Park Temporarily Closed July 17th through July 23rd

Skatepark Closure

The skatepark will be closed Wednesday, July 17th through Tuesday, July 23rd for artwork installation. The skatepark will be cleaned on Wednesday to prepare for artist, Bryce Chisholm, of AbcArtAttack to paint a mural on the concrete surface of the skatepark. The work is estimated to take four days to complete.

Bryce Chisholm, a former resident of Fernley and skateboarder, was selected by the City of Fernley Arts and Culture Task Force to paint a mural on the surface of the skatepark. The City is excited to see the addition of color and unique images to the skatepark surface. City staff is aware the skatepark is a popular park, especially during the evenings in summer time, we are asking residents for their patience during this art installation. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
