Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the Donner Trails Lift Station Generator Upgrade will be received by the City of Fernley, the Owner, at their office located at 595 Silver Lace Blvd, Fernley, Nevada 89408 until 10:00 a.m., local time, on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The Work consists of performing or providing all labor, services, and documentation necessary to produce such construction and furnishing, installing, and incorporating all materials and equipment into such construction, all as required by the Contract Documents.

The Work generally includes but is not limited to: Demolishing the existing 25kW generator and associated conduit and wire; providing and installing a new 80kW generator with base fuel take and sound attenuated enclosure, conduit and wire, controls, concrete pad, and excavation as described per Bid Documents.

The Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations:

The Contract Documents may be examined and obtained on January 22, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the following location:

Fernley City Hall, 595 Silver Lace Blvd, Fernley, Nevada 89408 

ENGINEER: PK Electrical, Inc. 

A non-refundable deposit of $25.00 will be charged to obtain each set of Plans and Contract Documents. Additional shipping and handling charges will be collected if an interested party requests mailing of Contract Documents.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at Fernley City Hall, 595 Silver Lace Blvd, Fernley, Nevada 89408. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with Section 00200, Instructions to Bidders. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form (separate Bid package) and accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in accordance with Section 00200. Successful Bidders will be required to furnish both a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in the full amount of the contract price.

The Owner will not award the Contract to a Bidder who, at the time of submitting a Bid, was not properly licensed under the provisions of Chapter 624 of NRS or if the Contract would exceed the limit of the Bidder’s license. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
