[ARCHIVED] Fernley Waste Management Transfer Station to Re-Open on April 28th

The Waste Management Fernley Transfer Station will resume operations and offer regular public drop-off hours starting Tuesday, April 28th.

Additional PPE and social distancing protocols have been implemented for the safety of the public and Waste Management employees. These protocols include a temporary halt to cash transactions, however debit and credit cards are accepted. Extra precautions may lead to longer than usual wait times and your patience is greatly appreciated.

In addition, customers with curbside service may drop off up to 6 standard sized trash bags of waste per week at no additional charge, while Waste Management drivers continue to remain in their trucks and focused on containerized waste collection.

In order to take advantage of this additional bag drop off service with no charge, bring a copy of your Waste Management statement, or an ID matching the address on the account to use this free service option. Additional waste disposal will be charged at regular rates.
