[ARCHIVED] ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS - Villa Park Sewer Main Replacement

 to be received at the office of the City of Fernley, located at 595 Silver Lace

Boulevard, Fernley, NV 89408, until 2:00 P.M. local time on Wednesday, August 26, 2020,

and then publicly opened and read aloud at that time.

The project is located on Villa Way & Randon Court in Fernley, Nevada as shown on the

project plans. The scope of work involves the removal of six (6) 48-inch diameter manholes

and 960 LF of RCP sewer main, and replacing with six (6) new 48-inch diameter manholes

and 960 LF of SDR35 sewer main, and all associated construction activities including

repaving, etc.

The ENGINEER’S estimate is $390,000. Should the successful bid be over the threshold,

Prevailing Wage rates will apply.

An optional pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at

the office of the City of Fernley, located at 595 Silver Lace Boulevard, Fernley, NV 89408

(Telephone (775) 784-9917).

Plans and Contract Documents may be examined and obtained after 9:00 A.M. on Friday,

July 31, 2020, at the following location:

Complete proposal packages and contract documents are being made available at no charge to

interested Bidders electronically or a non-refundable deposit of $40.00 for each set of hard copy Plans

and Contract Documents. Plans and Contract Documents will be mailed to prospective bidders, if

requested, for an additional non-refundable fee of thirty-five dollars ($35.00) for each set. Bidders are

asked to contact Resource Concepts, Inc. to register as plan holders and if they would like to request an

electronic copy of the bid package and contract documents. Bidders shall submit their proposal via US

Mail or hand delivery.

Payment and Performance bonds equal to 100% of the contract amount will be required upon

award of the contract, which is anticipated to be made on or about Thursday, September 3.
