COVID19 CARES Program flyer

This program is funded by the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act through Lyon County and partnership with the City of Fernley. Individuals experiencing economic hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic may be eligible, verification of impact may be required for direct assistance. Funding available through December 2020.

The qualifications for the COVID19 CARES funds are that the individual or household must have had a financial impact due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this can be in a variety of ways such as a temporary business closure, permanent loss of job, lost wages due to having to quarantine without pay, reduction in hours due to business slow down, loss of caregiver support including reduced hours due to having to stay home for school closures.
