[ARCHIVED] FCTA Accepting Grant Applications


Tuesday, November 2, 2020: The Fernley Convention & Tourism Authority (FCTA) is accepting now grant applications through November 30, 2020. These funds are for projects, events, and/or activities that will promote tourism in Fernley, Nevada during the period of January 1, 2021 through June 30, 2021. All applications must be received by 5:00 pm on Monday, November 30th, 2020. Applications will be accepted online only at the following link: 

There are significant changes in the FCTA grant application process. The City will hold a mandatory meeting on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 5:00 – 6:00 pm through Zoom to explain the changes. To register for the meeting please click the link below. If you cannot attend the meeting and would like to apply for the grant please let me know.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

The FCTA Board will review grant applications and make grant selection during their December 7, 2020 meeting. The meeting starts at 6:00 PM and may be a Zoom web conferencing call depending on the current COVID-19 social gathering restrictions. Grant applicants will be notified when the agenda is available for review. Attendance or participation during the web conference meeting is strongly encouraged. Applications without representation at the web conference meeting may not be considered for funding. Please read the FCTA Grant Guidelines prior to completing the FCTA Grant Application.
