A deposit is required for all customer accounts. Any balances from other accounts in the system must be paid in full before service will be started at a new location. The deposit to start a typical water service is $75.00. The deposit to start a typical sewer service is $80.00. There is also a $20.00 service fee to process applications for service. Therefore, $175.00 is required to start water/sewer service. The deposit and fees are payable by check, cash or credit card.

In submitting this form, you agree to the following terms:

1) Timely Payment: Meters are read during the last 10 days of the billing month. Statements are mailed within the first five days of the month following the billing month. Payment is due by the 20th day of the month following the billing month. Services may be disconnected for non-payment.

(2) Access: You agree to provide unobstructed access to meter boxes.

(3) For locations with E-One units: You authorize employees and agents of the City of Fernley to enter your property to repair, service, or maintain any E-One unit at his service address. You agree to provide unobstructed access to the E-One unit. You are responsible for repairs to any landscaping or structures that are disturbed as a result of any work on the E-One Unit or any components thereof.
